A Warm and Welcoming French Family
This welcoming family lives in a spacious house with a beautiful garden in a quiet residential neighborhood just a few minutes from the center of Lyon.
Both parents are teachers and enjoy sharing their culture and everyday French life with international students. Their family has five children, two of whom still live at home during the academic year. They have a wide range of interests including philosophy, music, cinema, hiking, climbing, and travel. They look forward to meeting people from around the world and creating meaningful cultural exchanges.
The guest room is bright, comfortable, and fully furnished with a double bed, desk, wardrobe, and plenty of storage space. Depending on availability, a private shower room may also be provided. Guests can enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, access to a piano, and the family’s peaceful garden—an ideal setting for studying and relaxing.
The home is conveniently located close to several bus lines and Metro Line B, providing quick and easy access to Lyon city centre, universities, and Lyon Sud Hospital.
The family is happy to welcome independent female students for short or medium-term stays. Several accommodation options are available, from room-only with kitchen access to bed & breakfast or half-board with selected evening meals.
Their goal is to offer a genuine French family experience in a warm, supportive, and friendly environment, helping every guest feel at home while discovering life in Lyon.
