Our Families

Find your home in Lyon!

We attach great importance to the quality of our host families and the desire to correspond as closely as possible to your wishes.

We know all our families, we have visited them all and we are in touch with them regularly.

Most of them live in central Lyon, or close to public transport, and in safe areas.

Their profiles can be quite different :

• Retired couples whose children have left home,
• Single parents happy to share their home with an international student,
• Couples with children wanting to open their minds to other cultures.

Even though the financial aspect of homestay is important for our families, it is never the primary motivation.

Our host families are selected according to several criteria: A good host family is above all a welcoming family.

It is essential that you feel welcomed!

• Our families are selected for the quality of their home and rooms.
• You will always have your own private bedroom with at least a bed, a desk and a wardrobe.
• Bed linen and towels are provided and changed regularly.
• The bathroom can be individual or shared according to the family’s home configuration.
• You can have access to the washing machine at least once a week.
• Access to the wifi in the student’s room is compulsory.

Your family will respect your privacy, and, if you wish, will involve you in their family life.
