This welcoming French family lives in Lyon’s 5th arrondissement. The parents are both working professionals, in Human Resources and Health, Safety & Environment management. They have four children, some of whom still live at home while the others visit occasionally. A friendly cat is also part of the household.
The family enjoys an active and culturally rich lifestyle, with interests including hiking, running, movies, reading and visiting museums. Music also plays an important role in their home, with a piano, violin and guitar. They are particularly interested in Lyon’s history and heritage, making this a great environment for an international student wishing to discover French culture and local life.
The family lives in a spacious five-bedroom house with two bathrooms and two toilets. The open-plan kitchen connects to the living room, creating a comfortable and convivial space for everyday family life.
The student has a private, fully furnished bedroom with a 140 cm bed, bedside table, desk and chair, large mirror and storage closet. The bathroom is shared with the children currently living at home.
The home is well connected to central Lyon. Bus 65 is only 100 metres away and connects to Gorge de Loup, while the C20 and C21 buses are about a five-minute walk from the house, providing easy access to Bellecour and Perrache in approximately 20 minutes.
