This welcoming homestay is located in Lyon’s 5th arrondissement, in a bright and comfortable 83 m² apartment. The host is a mother of four grown-up children who no longer live at home, offering international students a friendly and peaceful environment in which to experience everyday French life.
She enjoys bridge, spending time with friends, walking and swimming, and has studied at the Catholic University of Lyon (UCLy). She has previous experience welcoming international students, including American students, and particularly appreciates the companionship and cultural exchange that hosting provides.
The apartment has three bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and Wi-Fi. The student’s private bedroom is comfortably furnished with a single bed, desk and chair, dresser and shelving, providing a practical space for both studying and relaxing. The home is well connected to central Lyon. The nearest bus stop is approximately 10 minutes away on foot, with Perrache station around 20 minutes away by public transport, making it convenient for students studying in different parts of the city.
