This friendly host family lives in the very centre of Lyon, in the Presqu’île area, close to Place Bellecour. The family is made up of Catherine and Thibault and their daughter Mathilde, who lives at home. They also have an older daughter who has now left home, as well as Rubis, their British Shorthair cat.
The family enjoys a wide range of activities. Catherine and Thibault appreciate cultural outings, while Catherine is also interested in antique furniture and enjoys shopping in the city. Thibault loves skiing, hiking and jogging. Mathilde is passionate about horse riding and Formula 1.
The student will have a fully furnished private bedroom overlooking the courtyard, equipped with a single bed, desk, storage space and a mezzanine area. The bathroom, with both a bathtub and a shower, is shared with Mathilde. Wi-Fi and TV are available in the home.
One of the great advantages of this host family is its excellent central location. Ampère metro station (Line A) is only a 3-minute walk away, Bellecour (Lines A and D) is approximately 5 minutes on foot, and Perrache train station can be reached in around 10 minutes. This makes it particularly convenient for international students studying in different parts of Lyon.
