This welcoming family lives in a spacious and bright apartment in the heart of Lyon’s 1st arrondissement, in a lively and very central neighbourhood close to the Opera, the Rhône and Saône rivers, and several small parks. Hôtel de Ville metro station is less than a five-minute walk away, making it very easy to explore Lyon and reach the city’s universities.
The host lives with her two daughters, who stay at home every other week. The family enjoys art, yoga, music, travelling and discovering other cultures. English and Spanish are spoken in the household, and the family has previous experience welcoming international guests.
The student will have a private bedroom equipped with a bed, desk and storage space, as well as their own private bathroom. Wi-Fi is available, and the apartment features a separate kitchen and a large, comfortable living room.
This homestay is particularly suitable for an independent female student looking for both privacy and the opportunity to experience everyday French family life. The family is happy to welcome students for short, medium or longer stays and can accommodate special diets. The home is non-smoking and does not have pets.
