This warm and welcoming family lives in a large and spacious house in Charbonnières-les-Bains, a green and peaceful residential area just outside Lyon. The location offers the perfect balance between a quiet environment surrounded by nature and easy access to the city centre. A tram-train station is approximately an 8-minute walk from the house, with direct connections to Gorge de Loup in around 10 minutes and Lyon Saint-Paul in around 15 minutes.
The family has two daughters and a cat. They particularly enjoy French gastronomy and cook every day. Music is also an important part of family life: the girls play piano and guitar and enjoy reading, while cinema, travelling and discovering other cultures are among the family’s interests.
The house is arranged over three floors, giving everyone plenty of space and privacy. The guest bedroom is located on the upper floor and has a double bed (140 × 190 cm), desk, large wardrobe and a lovely view over the garden. The student also benefits from a private shower room and toilet, making this a particularly comfortable option for a homestay. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
The family speaks fluent English and is particularly interested in welcoming an English-speaking female student who would enjoy interacting with family life rather than simply renting a room. They love welcoming guests, cooking and sharing French culture, and their daughters are also learning English.
