Caroline and her 3 year-old daughter enjoy visiting museums, going to the theater and cinema.
They love hiking, bicycling, nature and animals (discovering the fauna and the flora, going to the zoo…).
They like travelling and spending their weekends at the sea or in the mountains.

This host family lives in an apartment in the third disctrict of Lyon.
The apartment is 25 minutes (by public transports) from the center of the city, and 6 minutes walking distance from the train station Part Dieu.
Their home is located in a calm and friendly neighborhood.                                                                                                    The wifi is available throughout the flat.

The available room includes: a bed (single which can become a double), a closet, a bedside lamp, a desk (with chair and lamp) and some shelves.

Caroline and her daughter would enjoy sharing meals with their host.

About 3rd district

The 3rd district of Lyon is distinguished by its closeness to the Berges du Rhône. One part is very close to the train station de la Part Dieu and of the shopping centre. The part close to the Rhône has a pleasant atmosphere and the streets are large and tree-lined and near the Berges du Rhône where walking is enjoyable. The part closest to Part Dieu is more anonymous since it has several office buildings. You will recognize la Part-Dieu by the tower which dominates the city and is referred to as the “pencil” (le crayon) due to its shape. You will also find there main city library and the auditorium.
